The Pearl Market in Beijing China

After we got settled in our hotel room in Beijing, and had a bite to eat in one of the hotel's restaurants,
we decided to go to the Peal Market and see what they had to sell. We took a cab to the market. The bell boy who grabbed us a cab told us it would be about 40 yuan for the ride. When we arrived I handed the cab driver 50 yuan, but he would only take 30. How odd, but nice. The ride back was during a busier time, took longer, and cost 40 yuan.

Continuing on our journey to Beijing...

We arrive at Beijing's famous Pearl Market.	On the first floor it looks more like a clothing store than a pearl market.


	There are a number of floors, and the higher the floor, the more expensive the pearls.	There are hundreds and hundreds of booths selling the same thing...mostly pearls of course.


Thousands and thousands of pearl necklaces, ear rings, bracelets, and more.	Riding down the escalator.
